When working with RefWorks, you can use the tool (add-on) RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) to create in-text citations or footnotes in a Word document.
RCM is already installed on @wEURk laptops. It can also be installed by clicking on ‘(Get) Add-ins' or ‘Store’ in Word, on the 'Insert’ or 'Developer’ tab. Users with a @wEURk laptop will see an ‘Admin Managed’ tab where you can find RCM. Other users have to search for RCM in the ‘Store’ tab.
Unfortunately, you will get an error message when you have purchased Microsoft Office via EUR, and try to install RCM via the Office Store. You have to use the special link below instead. As an alternative you can use Quick Cite or the RefWorks for Google Docs add-on. Read more in our e-module RefWorks: creating in-text citations or footnotes.
The video Writing with RefWorks (6:50 minutes) covers tools you can use when writing a research paper and using RefWorks to create in-text citations and footnotes.
