What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the copying of another person’s work without quoting the source, potentially creating the impression that the work is your own. Besides being a breach of copyright, plagiarism is also a breach of academic integrity. As a result of this, plagiarism is forbidden and can also result in academic penalties.
