How can I find a journal article?

The following information is required to find an article in a journal: title, author, journal title, the year of publication, edition and page numbers. This is the literature reference to an article. If you are searching for an article with a reference that you are familiar with, then you can search through sEURch, the search engine of the library.

Enter a few words from the title and possibly the author’s surname in the search bar. If the article appears in the overview of the search results, then you are usually able (as an EUR student or staff member) to continue to the full text of the article. If you can't find the article, try searching by the title of the journal.

In case a journal is available in printed form, note the so-called P-number (Call Number) and direct your request at the information desk in the University Library or through the online form. In order to do this, you need a (digital) student card or library card.

At the ISS Library most of the journals in printed form are in open stacks. If not, please ask at the Services desk.

Please note that journals are only available for reference and not available for loan.
